Website Redesign

US Beach Soccer National Championship needed a website redesign after their previous theme broke. They wanted to create a cleaner look and change some of their colors to look more patriotic while keeping their established logo. They also wanted new fonts for the new site, and a more open feel. I developed a style tile for the look and feel of the site, and moved their site to a new theme. I customized the site using the block builder in WordPress so that updates are easy for them to do in the future.

Style Tile

Before redesigning the site, we decided on how the site would look. Style tiles are a quick and easy way for clients to decide on the look and feel of a site. Complete brand guidelines including color codes are provided so the client knows how to use their fonts and colors in future projects.

New Site Home Page

I put the refreshed branding into an easy to keep updated and popular theme. This way it was very unlikely that the theme would be abandoned as appeared to be the issue with the first theme. The site used a lot of white space to keep an open feel and keep visitors from getting overwhelmed with information. A similar layout to the first was maintained so that their audience didn’t have to think about where to find the information they were used to. It was all in the same place, just with a different look.

Sponsors Page

Among other pages, USBSC needed an updated sponsors page with toggles to categorize and honor their sponsors. Previously, the sponsors were stacked on top of each other and this made the page long and unorganized. This layout was much neater and made the information easier to share. This page includes their sidebar as well, so visitors can easily find their way to their articles.
