Visual Identity for Mika Janine
Mika Janine is a hair stylist who was looking to create her branding for Instagram, marketing collateral, and so she could build a website for herself using WIX. We started by identifying her Ideal Client, and then delved into the look and feel that was appropriate for her brand. We wanted to avoid the overly feminine pinks and in-your-face sparkle, but still keep it feminine and modern, with a touch of glamour, as she works with clients who are looking for a more high-end experience and products.

When designing a visual identity, I like to show my clients their font options using a few different mockups so they can see them in “real life.” Even if I’m not designing any print collateral or their website, I still create branded mockups so that a client can get a clear idea of their font options.
